Senior Josh Quinn, who’s played with Pelham Youth Rugby for two and a half years, is being actively recruited by four colleges, including St. Joseph’s University, Lindenwood University, Mary Washington University and Iona College.

Mary Washington, Iona and Lindenwold are offering scholarships to Josh, who plays prop for Pelham.

“It has been hectic the past couple of months, but is a great relief knowing that I have seen interest from colleges for my rugby skills,” said Josh. “I believe that Pelham Rugby has created great opportunity, not only for me but for many other skilled players. Joining the team helped build a lot of character and has showed with all the responses I have been receiving.”

“Joining Pelham Rugby has definitely helped me get recruited by colleges and earn scholarship money I would not have gotten with out playing rugby,” he said.
