Pelham Youth Rugby took its annual trip to Philadelphia this past weekend to play the Pennsylvania All-Stars and to stay overnight for Pelham’s annual awards banquet.
Pelham’s U13 team lost the first match to a gigantic Pennsylvania team. This was followed by a dramatic win by the U15s, who defeated the Pennsylvania U15 All-Stars 20-10. That left the U15 squad undefeated in all matches in 2013.
Man of the match for the U13s was Woods Johnson, and for the U15 team, it was shared by Kees Huisman and Danny Maydwell.
Later that night some awards were handed out:

  • U15 MVP forward: Joe Nelson
  • U15 MVP back: Luke Persanis
